Weather, YouTube, Radio stations.pretty handy to me. Some toolbars pack in goodies so not all of them are devoid of benefits. Once you start installing programs it'll become second nature to bypass filler content. Most software programs DO OFFER a choice on how to install. So, in a brief recap: anytime you get the option for "EXPRESS INSTALL" or "CUSTOM INSTALL", custom is how you choose what you want and what works best. My system, fortunately, has been alright and my programs will notify me of any update they need. I limit how many Windows 7 (64 bit) updates I install because it seems like once the system is stabilized an update can be like tossing a million-dollar vase up in the air only to land in ten billion pieces. Although I already have other programs that I've purchased, I still like to have a variety because each program is different and some are just all out frustrating. I've read a lot of great reviews for it in the past and am excited it's offered today. I use the SEARCH WITH KISS as my search engine and I don't like when programs try and change that!!!Ībout the program itself: I've never used it but plan on giving it a chance. I only checked the box that asked to put quick launch buttons on. I'm not trying to be condescending there just informative. Someone mentioned the fogged out portion on the install screen: that's WHERE you select your choice and can untick the boxes. Fortunately many free programs give the option to customize installation. Something WE ALL have to keep in mind is that, with a free program comes advertising and toolbars as a way to bring in profits and guage how we all use the product and services. You HAVE TO DO A CUSTOM INSTALL in order to pick what you want and how you want the program configured.
